Tikvault — watchcare in Bangkok
Tikvault opened on Sathorn Road in Bang Rak with a straightforward intention: to offer watch owners in Bangkok a place where servicing and restoration is done carefully, documented honestly, and explained clearly. The workshop handles everything from routine mechanical and quartz servicing to the more involved work of refinishing cases and overhauling vintage or complicated calibers.
The name is a compression of the word tik — the Thai onomatopoeia for a clock's beat — and the idea of a vault as a place of safekeeping. That pairing captures what the workshop is: a place where time is both the subject and the medium of the work.
Every piece that comes through the door receives a written record of its condition on arrival and the work carried out. For more substantial jobs — refinishing, heritage overhauls — a pre-work assessment is provided before anything begins, so the owner understands exactly what's planned and can ask questions or adjust the scope before work proceeds.
Our Approach
Watchcare at Tikvault is deliberate rather than rushed. The workshop takes on a considered number of pieces at any one time, so each caliber receives the attention it requires. There is no pressure to proceed with work you haven't reviewed, and no shortcuts taken to speed up a turnaround.

Nattawat Kongkiat
Lead Watchmaker
Nattawat has spent over a decade working with mechanical and vintage calibers. He leads assessments and oversees all heritage overhaul work at the workshop.
Pranee Sombat
Case & Dial Specialist
Pranee handles refinishing and crystal work with a particular focus on conservation. She prepares the pre-work assessments for all case and dial projects.
Wichai Aroon
Quartz & Service Technician
Wichai manages routine servicing across both quartz and mechanical pieces, and handles the workshop's documentation and client communication.
How We Work
Workshop standards and practice
Ultrasonic Cleaning Protocol
Movement components are cleaned using calibrated ultrasonic equipment with solutions appropriate to each material. Parts are dried and inspected before reassembly.
Movement-Specific Lubrication
Lubricants are selected by movement type and age. Mechanical and quartz calibers require different oils and greases; applying the wrong type shortens service intervals and causes wear.
Written Service Records
Every completed job is accompanied by a written record detailing what was disassembled, cleaned, replaced, and regulated. This document travels with the watch.
Secure Piece Handling
All watches in the workshop are stored in individual trays, labelled and tracked through each stage. Pieces brought in by courier are handled under a documented intake process.
Pre-Work Assessment
For refinishing and heritage overhauls, a written assessment of the planned work is provided before anything begins. No work proceeds without the owner's review.
